Jess Schuyler Perry
Jess S. Perry, age 71, died at his home on April 2, 2020, with his family near his side. Jess was born on September 21, 1948 in Saint Anthony, Idaho, the son of Joseph Frances and Alice Celestia (Bigler) Perry.
Jess grew up in Ashton, Idaho, and later graduated from high school from Columbia High School, in Burbank, Washington. He served his country in the US Navy from 1967-1970 on the USS Hancock, during the Vietnam War. He attended Utah State University in Logan, Utah for a few years.
He married Yetive (Martin) Perry on April 12, 1975 at Spring Hollow Campground in Logan Canyon, near Logan, Utah.
He joined the Irownworker Union #27 and completed the apprenticeship, became a journeyman ironworker in 1976 and worked at his profession until he retired in 2010.
Jess’s hobbies include woodworking, hiking, camping, and birdwatching, and mountain climbing.
He is survived by his wife, Yetive Perry of Kemmerer, WY; a daughter, Jannis Perry, of Kemmerer, WY; siblings, Mark (Lynda) Perry of Fresno, CA.; Jorj (Vicky) Perry of Cobrian, FL.; and Mayme (Doug) Marrott, of Provo, UT. He is also survived by a sister in law, Gloria Perry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Justin Perry, a brother, Jim Perry, and a brother, Jon and his wife Shirley Perry.
His wishes were to be cremated, and Memorial serivces are pending for later this summer depending on the outcome of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Worked with Jess many times, was saddened to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers to his family. Jess really enjoyed the outdoors hunting and climbing. He will be missed by many, was a great person to know.
