Andrellita “Andre” Lively, a cherished soul whose life was a testament to love, laughter, and strength, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026, surrounded by her devoted family. Born on January 26, 1940, in the humble town of Evanston, Wyoming, Andre was a beacon of light and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Andre was the beloved daughter of John and Pearl Failoni, who preceded her in death, along with her grandfather Julian Gallegos, her devoted husband Carl Lively, her cherished children Gary and Debra Lively, and her brother-in-law Glenn Folkers. Though she faced these losses with remarkable resilience, she found solace and joy in the loving embrace of her surviving family members, including her children John (Mary) Lively and Michelle (Mark) Scott; her sisters, Louise Folkers and Marilyn (Bill) Downs, her brothers, John Allen Failoni and Richard Failoni; her grandchildren April Lively, Jack Lively, Thomas Lively, and Heidi Currutt; and her 12 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; her sister in law Sarah Mueller, numerous nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of dear friends also mourn her passing.

A proud graduate of Kemmerer High School, Class of 1958, Andre embarked on a life filled with meaningful work and deep personal connections. She began her career at DDO in Ogden, Utah, before returning to Kemmerer in 1976. In 1979, she joined Utah Power & Light, where she dedicated herself until her retirement in 1998. Her professional life was marked by diligence, integrity, and the friendships she cultivated along the way.

Andre married her true love, Alonzo Carl Lively, on February 5, 1958. Their marriage, which spanned 65 years, was a testament to enduring love and unwavering partnership. Together, they built a family and shared countless memories that will be cherished for generations.

A woman of varied interests, Andre had an infectious love for life. She was an avid supporter of the Wyoming Cowboys, cheering passionately for their football and basketball teams. Her enthusiasm extended to NBA Basketball, and she was known to be devoted fan. Andre’s love for music was legendary; she adored Elvis and held fond memories of attending live performances by Neil Diamond, Elton John, and Billy Joel. Her laughter and joy were palpable when she spoke of these experiences.

Andre’s hear was as expansive as her interests. She was known for her kindness, humor, and the ability to make everyone feel like family. Her love was generous and her spirit, indomitable. She never met a stranger, and those fortunate enough to be called her friend knew they were loved deeply and unconditionally.

Her family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate nurses and staff at South Lincoln Medical Center and McKay Dee Hospital. Your exceptional care and support during these difficult times did not go unnoticed. We are eternally grateful for your kindness and dedication.

Though Andre has left this world, her spirit soars high, joining her loved ones in a celestial celebration. She will be profoundly missed and eternally loved. As we remember her radiant smile and beautiful soul, we find comfort in knowing she is reunited with those who went before her. Fly high, dear Mom, and rest in peace.
