In Loving Memory of Caleb Nathaniel Gooding
June 23, 2003 – February 21, 2026
Caleb Nathaniel Gooding, 22, of Mountain View, Wyoming, lived his 22 years the only
way he knew how — full throttle and on his own terms.
Born on June 23, 2003, to Don and Shona Gooding, Caleb was strong-willed from the
start. He was the proud brother of Bailee and a fiercely loyal son, brother, and friend. He
grew into exactly who he was meant to be — bold, stubborn, fearless, and impossible to
ignore.
If you knew Caleb, you knew he was rarely serious for long. He was always joking,
always poking and prodding, always stirring the pot just enough to get a reaction. He
loved to tease the people he cared about most, and if he was giving you a hard time, it
usually meant you were one of his favorites. His grin often came right before a smart
comment, and his presence guaranteed the room would never stay quiet for long.
Caleb loved baseball, but the open road truly had his heart. He loved his cars and riding
his crotch rocket — always chasing speed, freedom, and that feeling of being completely
alive. With the wind at his back or his foot on the gas, that was where he felt most at
home. He didn’t just want to live life — he wanted to feel it fully.
He was amazingly headstrong and stubborn in the very best way. Caleb never let anyone
dictate his life. He made his own choices, followed his own path, and stood firm in whohe was. Beneath that fierce independence was a deep love for his family and friends — a
loyalty that ran steady and true.
Though his time here was far too short, Caleb’s life was full — full of laughter, speed,
fire, and love. The noise, the teasing, the boldness, and the energy he brought into every
space will be missed beyond words, but never forgotten.
He is survived by his parents, Don Gooding of Kemmerer, Wyoming and Shona Gooding
of Mountain View, Wyoming; his sister, Bailee Gooding of Mountain View;
Grandparents Ronnie and Teresa Kellum of Mountain View; Don Gooding, Sr. of
Thornton, Colorado; Penny Fritzler of Aurora, Colorado; Great Grandmother Doris Haley
of Kilbourne, Louisiana; Aunt and Uncle Chris & Jill Kellum of Mountain View; Aunt
Tisha Kellum of Evanston, Wyoming; Aunt Danielle Gooding of Westminster, Colorado;
Uncle Nick Fritzler of Aurora, Colorado; Cousins Rylan Kellum of Grand Forks, North
Dakota; Landen Kellum of Mountain View; Dimitri & Francesca Gooding of
Westminster, Colorado; Kenzy and Derrick Winn of Minot, North Dakota; Morgan
Kellum of Mountain View; Augustus (Gus) Simmons of Boise, Idaho; tons of extended
family and countless friends who will forever carry his stories, his laughter, and his wild,
unstoppable spirit with them.
He lived fast. He loved hard. And he never did anything halfway.
