Charles H. Nelson, age 87, passed away on March 6, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 12, 1926 in Marbleton, Wyoming, the son of Charles Helmer and Pearl Irene (Vickery) Nelson. He married Saundra S. Waddell on April 21, 1986, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was a small business operator for numerous years. He loved fishing, hunting, woodworking, and hunting arrowheads, and spending time in the great outdoors.
He also served his country in the United States Army, serving from 1950-1952.
He is survived by a spouse, Saundra Nelson of Kemmerer, WY. Lenny Uram, Debbie Jo (Christian Hill) Clark, and Seldon (Mary) Darrow, of Fullerton, CA.; his grandchildren, Ciera Clark, Shanae Clark, Cody Darrow, and Jeremy Darrow. He is also survived by a great granddaughter, Gracie Irene Bartlett. He is also survived by numerour nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ball Family Chapel, and graveside services and inurnment will take place in the spring.
