Dee Dee Renee Waldner

June 14, 1974 — February 23, 2023

Kemmerer, WY

Dee Dee Renee Waldner, age 48 passed away on February 23, 2023 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  The family is both devestated and shocked.  Dee Dee was born on June 14, 1974 in Scottsdale, Arizona to Randle Durant and Mary (Pedigo) McClure.

Dee Dee graduated from Kemmerer High School in 1992 including a year of schooling when the family temporarily relocated to Winnemucca, NV.  Over the course of her life she embarked on several career choices.  She worked as a banker, owned her own floral business, and later found her passion for working with children as a substitute teacher and cafeteria worker.  She was affectionately known as "Miss Dee Dee" by the students.  Deed or Deeders as she was known to her friends loved reading,  especially biographies, wearing flip flops in all seasons, hosting and cooking in her home, the color pink and most programs of Bravo.  She was always ready to try a new restaurant or join you for a chat with a big glass of wine.

Dee Dee's antics were legendary and those who knew her have their own stories to tell.  She said what she meant and meant what she said.  One never had to question where they stood with Deed.  In 2005 Dee Dee married the love of her life, David Waldner and they welcomed a beautiful daughter, LaRanda in 2008.

Family was the most important thing in Deed's life, and she took great pride in being a mother to LaRanda and an aunt.  She never missed an opportunity to cheer on LaRanda at her track meets and volleyball games.  She also made it a point to travel whenever possible to support her nephews Derek and Beckett playing her favorite sport, baseball.

We will miss her radiant smile and contagious laugh.

Dee Dee is preceded in death by her parents, Randle and Mary, and her grandparents.  She is survived by her husband, David, a daughter, LaRanda, a brother, Justin (Heidi) Durant and their boys.  Also survived by an aunt Karen Coyle, a cousin Ronda Duryea, a step-father, Lonnie McClure, and mother in law, Sara Waldner, four brothers-in-laws and three sisters-in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Dee Dee had many close friends and family friends that are feeling her loss very strongly.

In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the GoFundMe established to assist with medical expenses and the educational future of her daughter LaRanda. https:gofund.me/e3a052e8.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held on April 20, 2023 at Ball Family Chapel at 7:00 PM.
