Dixie Rae Thoman

Dixie Rae Thoman, age 60, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away at her home on June 22, 2015.  Dixie was born on Jujly 5, 1954 in Evanston, WY.; the daughter of Alfred and Shirley Thoman.  She grew up on the Thoman ranch and her favorite times were taking care of the lambs.  She graduated from Cokeville High School and attended Casper College where she obtained her associate degree in business.  She was a bookkeeper for Albertsons in Casper for 16 years.  She loved the outdoors and fishing, and camping.  She also enjoyed Harley motorcycle rides and her black lab dogs.

She is survived by her parents, Alfred and Shirley Thoman,; brothers, Randy and Jay; and sisters, Nancy Petersen and Rhonda Whitaker.  She is also survived by Steve Hinton, her life long companion, and his son, Jeff and family.  She is preceded in death by her brother, Albert and her sister, Rickie Lee.

A viewing was held at Ball Family Chapel in Kemmerer on Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. Until 8:00 P.M.  Graveside services were conducted on Satruday, June 27, 2015 at the Randolph Cemetery.  A celebration of life will be held in Casper, WY. At a later date.
