Edna Lois Moore

Edna) Lois Moore, born 5-21-1928, deceased 12-22-2018 at the age of 90.  Lois was born in Douglas, WY to William and Mabel Dixon, the only girl among three brothers, Bill (d) Gene and Bobby (d) Dixon.  She met and married Robert Sterling Moore (d) who had a daughter, Patty Douvia (Raymond). They were married for 62 years and had three daughters together, Orrelle (Bill) Dennis, Bobbi (Steve) Swindle and Elena (Michael) Johnson. Their grand children, Rick, Brett (d), Cheryl (d), David, Charlene, Jennifer, James, Nichole (d), Jason, Amee, William, Quinn and Aidan. Plus numerous great grandchildren. When they met, she was a photographer and he was an Air Force pilot in 1952. They traveled extensively during his service of 21 years. After his service was completed, they first settled in Douglas, WY then moved to Torrance, CA where she worked as an Escrow Officer, transferred to Oroville, CA
 and retired while living in Paradise, CA, then moved to Grand Rhonde, OR and finally to Pflugerville, TX. They loved to fish, travel, camp and she loved taking pictures. She also extensively researched the family genealogy for both sides of the family.

Graveside services will be conducted on July 15, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at the Douglas Cemetery, Douglas, Wyoming.  A reception will be held following graveside services, at a place yet to be determined.
