Elizabeth Ann Chadwick

Elizabeth Ann Chadwick, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 at her home in Kemmerer, WY.  She was born on November 17, 1940 in Evanston, Wyoming, the daughter of David E and Iris May (Burleigh) Black.  She married John Chadwick on March 2, 1962 in Evanston, WY.  

 

Betty loved to spend time sewing, reading books, and rock collecting.  She was a lover of animals and enjoyed having them and taking care of them in her home.  Betty loved to care for others.  She loved being able to spend time with her children, and her grandchildren.  She was a caregiver to both the young and the old. She was kindhearted, loved her neighbors, and was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend to all.

 

She is survived by her children, a son, John (Joyce) Chadwick, of Kemmerer, WY.; a daughter, Julie (Rico) Trujillo, of Farr West, UT.; and a daughter, Lisa Chadwick, of Palm Desert, CA.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ashley Housley, Brittany (Zach) Backman, Whitney Chadwick, Annie Falasca, A.J. Falasca, Malorie (Derrick) Bishop, Tori Stoltzman, Sadie Falasca, Geno Killen, and Sammy Stoltzman.  She is survived by her great grandchildren, Brinley Backman, Easton Backman, and Gia Avila.  She is also survived by her brothers, Butch Black, Bob Black, and Donny Black.  She is also survived by a sister, Laura Black.

 

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Chadwick, a son George Chadwick, and a brother Richard Black.

 

Visitation will be held at Ball Family Chapel in Kemmerer on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 9:00 A.M.  Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. On Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Ball Family Chapel in Kemmerer, WY.  Interment will follow funeral services at the Plainview Cemetery, Big Piney, WY.
