Eric Jay Dummer, age 42, died in Evanston, WY. at his residence on June 13, 2015. He was born on July 21, 1972 the son of Jerry and Connie Dummer, in Bountiful, Utah.
Eric loved the outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, hunting, camping, fishing, and usually was the one who would be found doing all the cooking. He loved to play video games, riding motorcycles. Eric was quick witted, and loved to tell and play practical jokes on people. He worked in the construction field, and was an excellant crane operator. He loved watching the Dallas Cowboys. Eric loved his son, and would enjoy spending time with him.
Eric is survived by his parents, Jerry and Connie Dummer, of Kemmerer, WY.; his son, Scotty Dummer, and his mother, Jamie Bowns, of Evanston, WY.; a brother, Lynn (Karalyn) Dummer, of Montana, a sister, April Pettitt, of Kemmerer, WY.; a brother, Zach (Carly) Dummer, of Kemmerer, WY.; a brother, Dillon Dummer, of Kemmerer, WY.; a maternal grandmother, Virginia Price, of Salt Lake City, UT.; aunts and uncles, Karne McCandless, of Utah, Jay (Kim) Brown, of Arkansas, Allen (Sandy) Sellers, of Kemmerer, WY.; Troy Sellers, of Kemmerer, WY.; paternal aunts and uncles, Carol (William, deceased) of Utah, Kenneth Dummer, of Oregon, and numerous cousins, special great aunts and uncles.
Eric is preceded in death by his grandparents, Allen Sellers, Jr. ; Eugene Brown, Dorothy Newcomb Dummer, and Fordham A. Dummer. He is also preceded in death by numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Memorial serivces will be conducted on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kemmerer L.D.S. Stake Center, with Bishop Destry Dearden officiating. The family will greet friends at the church one hour prior to the services. Services will conclude at the church.
