With heavy hearts, we are sorry to announce the passing of the most amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Ernest Glen Christen, Jr.


On September 7, 2026, Ernest Glen Christen, Jr. went to be with his loving wife, Linda Carter Christen, who he has missed for many years. Glen was surrounded by his family during his time of passing at Glen Cottage Memory Care Unit in Tooele, Utah.


Glen enjoyed creating many fun memories with family and friends. He never met a stranger. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and hunting and always being around his family. Glen retired from the FMC Corporation Coke Plant in Kemmerer, Wyoming. Soon after his retirement, he and Linda became snowbirds traveling to Arizona in the winters, where they made many wonderful friends.


Glen is the 2nd oldest of eight children. Born weighing 3lbs 7oz. on January 24, 1939 in Provo, Utah, the son of Helen and Ernest Glen Sr. He had two sisters and five brothers.


He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda, a daughter, Laurie, one sister, four brothers and his parents. He leaves behind his daughter, Jenny (Mark) Wright of Stockton, Utah; and two sons, Jeff (Jen) Christen, of Kemmerer, WY.; and Justin (Janea) Christen, of Rock Springs, WY.; and a godson, Chris (Katie) Jacobs of Utah.


Glen leaves behind an empty spot that cannot be replaced and will be loved and missed dearly. Memorial services will be planned for family and friends at a later date.
