Glenn Michael Smith

Glenn Michael Smith, age 63, died at South Lincoln Medical Center in Kemmerer, Wyoming on Friday, March 2, 2018 from complications due to cancer.  He was born on February 22, 1955 in Orange, Texas, the son of Billy and Darlene (Gilstrap) Smith.  

 

Glenn worked as an electrician for the majority of his life.  He enjoyed the great outdoors and spending time fishing.  He also enjoyed playing golf on occasions.  He enjoyed taking rides up to the mountains, and being in the outdoors.  Glenn also enjoyed woodworking.  Glenn served his country in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged.  Glenn was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and enjoyed following the team very much.

 

Glenn is survived by his brothers, Woody (Tracy) Smith, of Evanston, WY.; and Dale Smith of Diamondville, WY.; and a niece, Amanda Christensen, of Kemmerer, WY.; and a nephew Forrest Smith of Evanston, WY.  He is also survived by his children, Chassity (Craig) DeBerry and Stephanie Smith and a step daughter, Angela Reyes, and a step son and her brother, David Williams.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jordan, Kaley, Ben, and Zach.  He is also survived by his great niece, Raelee Christensen.  

 

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Darlene Smith, his spouse Gloria, and numerous other relatives.

 

Memorial services to celebrate Glenn’s life will be conducted on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 2:00 P.M.; at Ball Family Chapel in Kemmerer, WY.  Memoiral donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, or to that of the donors choice.

 

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ball Family Chapel, Kemmerer, WY.
