Gloria Jean Canoso

Gloria Jean Canoso, age 89, died at South Lincoln Medical Center in Kemmerer, WY on June 2, 2024.  She was born on January 7, 1935 in Kemmerer, Wyoming, the daughter of Frank P and Mary Maddalon (Capucchio) Canoso.  

Gloria loved to spend her days cooking, enjoying flowers, doing yard work and gardening.  She loved to be outdoors enjoyed all nature had to offer.  She enjoyed being around people.  She was an avid Kemmerer Ranger fan, and loved to enjoy watching high school sports and supporting the Kemmerer Rangers.  Gloria was gifted with a beautiful voice and loved music.  She worked for numerous years for Lincoln County School District #1 as a custodian, and also enjoyed working at the Victory Theatre in Kemmerer.

Gloria is preceded in death by her three brothers, four sisters, three nephews, one great niece.  She is survived by many nieces, nephews and many great great nieces and nephews.

Glora’s wishes were to be cremated and Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 1:00 PM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Kemmerer, with Father Dave Erickson as the celebrant.  Inurnment will follow services at the South Lincoln Cemetery, Kemmerer, WY.
