Helen Elizabeth Anelli

Helen E. Anelli, age 82, passed away on February 22, 2022 at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah.

Helen Culp was born on September 5, 1940 in Burien, Washington, the daughter of Fred Brian and Juanita June (Hickok) Culp.  She attended Catholic schools.

Helen married John Paul Anelli on July 7, 1962 in Yakima, Washington.  Shortly after their marriage, John and Helen moved to Kemmerer, Wyoming and began to raise their family.  Helen raising her children, was able to work a various jobs in the town of Kemmerer throughout her life. Helen loved the great outdoors, and going hunting, mushroom hunting, camping, and taking time to volunteer in her community.  She was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church, and served as Altar and Rosary President for numerous years as the church built the new Catholic Church in Kemmerer.  She also served as the AARP President in Kemmerer for numerous years.  John passed away in September 16, 2015.  

Helen is survived by her children,  a son, Joe and Liz Anelli, a daughter, Darlene and Rob Polanski, and a son, John and Mary Anelli.  She is survived by her grandchilden, Jaden, Dachota, Amber, Kalie, Jamie, Alyssa, Alex, and Austin, Jessica, Jake, Tanesha, Aallyah, Chris, Dmetrie, Oden, Grayson, and Jamie, and Kinlei.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 6-8PM at Ball Family Chapel in Kemmerer.  There will be a visitation at the church Friday morning, March 4, 2022 from 9:30 AM until the time of the rosary, which will begin at 10:30 AM.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow the rosary at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow servies at the Diamondville Cemetery, Diamondville, WY.
