Inez Marie DeVeny

Inez Marie DeVeny, age 74, passed away at Evanston Regional Hospital in Evanston, Wyoming, on Wednesday, May 20, 2015.  She was born on June 8, 1940 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, the daughter of Vernon Eugene and Wilda Laverne (Klepper) Vandiver.  

Inez married Delmar Clyde DeVeny on May 31, 1958 in Chugwater, Wyoming.  

Inez loved being in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, and riding horses with her husband.  She was a talented musician, and loved to play numerous instruments, including the piano, accordian, and the electric bass guitar.  She loved to spend her time as a volunteer in the school system, helping organize parties, and spending time with the children.  

Inez is survived by her husband, Delmar DeVeny, of LaBarge, WY.; and a son, Dean DeVeny of Freedom, WY.; and a daughter, Reva DeVeny, of Fredericktown, OH.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, JD DeVeny, Jennifer DeVeny-Jensen, Justin DeVeny, Jameson DeVeny.  She is also survived by two great grandchildren, Kenadee Jensen, and Riley Sue DeVeny.  She is also survived by two sisters, Vernita Lewis, of Searcy, AR.; and Dorothy Vogt, of Cheyenne, WY.  

Inez is preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Judy Rhoades; and a daughter Wanda, a son, Wayne, and a daughter, Peggy.

Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to funeral services.  Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 2:30 P.M. At the Fellowship Baptist Church in LaBarge, WY. With Pastor Tony Portera officiating.  Interment will follow services at the Viola Cemetery, LaBarge, WY.
