James Alfred McCloud

James Alfred McCloud, age 81, passed away at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah on June 2, 2021.



James was born on August 3, 1939 in Kemmerer, Wyoming, the son of Mack and Kathryn (Martin) McCloud. He graduated from Kemmerer High School.



He married Joyce Hanney on October 4,1962 in Paris, Idaho. They spent their lifetime in Kemmerer raising a wonderful family. James worked as a supervisor at Utah Power & Light, for over a 40 year career. James was a big tease, to everyone. He loved spending time with his family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. James was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to spend time fishing, camping, and hunting. He was an avid Atlanta Brave baseball fan, and a Denver Bronco fan. He also loved to spend time working in his yard, and sitting on his back porch. Every year, it was a family tradition to go up the country and cut a fresh Christmas tree for the holiday.



James is survived by his wife, Joyce McCloud, of Kemmerer, WY; his children, Jimmie Ann (James) Spigarelli, of Kemmerer, a daughter, Jeanie (Daniel) Shubert, of Diamondville, a son, Mack McCloud of Kemmerer, a daughter, Ellen McCloud, of Evanston, and a daughter, Whitney McCloud, of Kemmerer. He is survived by two brothers, Terry McCloud, and Sam McCloud, and a sister, Jean Holladay. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Elizabeth, Jameson, Jorden, Gaven, Dylan, Madison, James, and Taylor. He is survived by his great grandchildren, Arlie Kay, Nia Rayne, Tayzliee Kay, Bennett Reece, Grayciee May, Everliee Jo, and Stella Leslie.



He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Robert McCloud, a daughter, Debbie Warpness, and his most beloved canine companion, Maggie May McCloud, who was the love of his life.



Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 10:00 AM at The South Lincoln Cemetery, Kemmerer, WY. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ball Family Chapel, Kemmerer, WY.
