Jeremy Scott Erickson passed away at his home in Kemmerer on April 30th at the age of 37. He was born January 4th 1989, in Ogden Utah to Tina and Scott Erickson.
Jeremy was a man of many titles. He was an uncle, a cousin, a grandson, a son, husband and so much more. But the most important title he held was dad.
He was a friend to so many, known for his love for adventure and smart comments. Jeremy was also a very hard worker. He took so much pride in the work he did, especially when it came to remodeling and building. He was one to make sure projects for others were done in fine detail and above standards.
Recently, Jeremy found a passion in fossils. He talked of how it required fine detail and he liked how it distracted his mind. Above all his passions, Jeremy had a love for the outdoors. During hunting season, Jeremy set ample time aside to hunt. Whether it be for himself, family, or friends. He wanted to be hunting, and he was so extremely good at it. And let's not forget about fishing and shed hunting. He would hike MILES to find antlers.
Jeremy’s parents, Scott, Tina and Lewis describe him as an adventurous kid. They said he was always happy and doing something. And If they told him he couldn't do something he still would do it anyway. Scott says he was always happy but also mischievous. He carried this even into his teen years and to young adulthood.
Jeremy met his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Katelyn Walker at the age of 17. They were together for 14 years before they were married in August of 2020. They had 3 children together, Tucker, Carter, and Bridger. Jeremy’s Family was his pride and joy. He loved creating memories with his family and especially took pride in teaching his boys to hunt, fish, and all things outdoors.
Jeremy is survived by his wife, Katie and 3 boys Tucker, Carter, and Bridger. His dad, Scott (Kelley) Erickson, Mom Tina (Lewis) Nielsen, Sister Michelle Nielsen, Niece Layla, Nephew Ledger, Sister Amanda (Rob) Butler, Niece Alicia, Nephew Nicky, and many others. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Richard and MaryLynn Erickson, Janice and Burnell Yeaman, and other beloved family members from throughout his life.
