Joanne E. Talmadge

Joanne Eubank Talmadge, age 84, of Kemmerer, Wyoming, rejoined our Heavenly Father on Monday, May 4, 2026. Joanne was born October 28, 1941 in Inglewood, California to George and Verna C Eubank. The family enjoyed spending summers on their family ranch in LaBarge, Wyoming.

Joanne married the love of her life, Phillip Russell Talmadge on January 27, 1962 in Pinedale, Wyoming. They enjoyed building a life together with their two wonderful children, Mark and Shari.

Joanne was a passionate quilter, florist, painter, cake decorator and loved being involved with the church. Joanne owned a fabric store in town for many years. She possessed a creative vision for design and warmed many hearts in the community and contributed to charity events with her quilts. The quilts were a beautiful reflection of who she was.

Joanne also worked as a florist at Marge’s Floral for many years. After that she pursued a career in silkscreening with a home-based business and her eye for design did not go unnoticed.

Joanne is survived by her children: Mark (Carrie) Talmadge (Pinedale), Shari Brown (Star Valley), Sister in-law Kay (Butch) Preston, brother in-law Steve (Rhonda) Seaman, Grandchildren: Jeromy Talmadge, Russell (Trista) Gordon, Katie (Jimmy) Norton, 7 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents: George and Verna Eubank, husband Phillip Talmadge, brother James Eubank, brother in laws Kenneth Talmage, George Seaman, Gary Allmon and sister in law Joan Allmon.

As per Joanne’s wishes the graveside service will be closed to family only. We appreciate your love and support as we mourn the loss of such a talented mother and grandmother.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
