Johanna Cecilia Mau

Johanna Cecilia Bertagnolli Mau, age 86, joined the ranks of the angels she has journeyed home to be with her beloved husband, Bill, her daughter, Peggy, her grandson, Ricky, her parents and brother and sister.  Johanna died on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at South Lincoln Medical Center in Kemmerer, WY.  

She was born on June 24, 1931, in Rock Springs, Wyoming, the daughter of Richard Joseph and Rosie (Tayo) Bertagnolli.

Johanna was an inspiration to all who knew her on how to live life.  She ran the race well.  She has crossed the finish line.  We will cherish her forever.

Johanna is survived by her sister, Rosalie Chrisite, her daughter, and son in law; Kathy and Nick Bettas; her daughter and son in law; Jerri and Ed Kelley; her grandchildren, Bill Bettas, Kellieanne and Ken Boris, Matt and Shannon Kelley, Maggie and KC Hagemann; five great grandchildren, and many dear friends.

Johanna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She enjoyed cooking, and gardening.  She was a devoted member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, and most of all, she was a sheep ranchers wife.

Graveside and rosary services will be conducted on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. At the South Lincoln Cemetery, Kemmerer, WY. With Father August Koenue as the celebrant.
