John Dee Harris

John Dee Harris, 74, of LaBarge, Wyoming, passed away June 11, 2023, at St. John's Hospital in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, June 20 at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, South Dakota, with full military honors.

John was born on July 19, 1948, at home in Sargent, Nebraska, to Floyd and Thelma (Plock) Harris.

After graduating from high school, John enlisted in the army and served from 1967-1969.  He married the love of his life, Barbara Jean (Ballagh) Harris, on April 22, 1971.  They had three children, Michael Aaron (Suzy) Harris, Michelle "Shelly" Irene (Kirk) Rutt, and Ranae Colleen (David) Pape.

John is survived by his wife, of 52 years, three children and their spouses, grand and great grandchhildren.
