Kyler Quin Hurdsman

Kyler Quin Hurdsman was born April 28, 2004 to Ryan and Misty Hurdsman. He passed away on September 17, 2026.

Kyler was welcomed in to our world by an older sister and brother that were so completely in love with him from day one. His mama was so excited when he was born with red hair! He was the most easy going baby, loved everyone and kept his smile from no one. With that kind of affectionate smile, his mama quickly named him Kyler Smiler. He could make anyone laugh. We spent many times around the dinner table just laughing at him and his antics.

In 2008 he got the honor of becoming a big brother when his family was joined by another baby boy. He was so excited!!

He grew up in a football loving household and he loved the Green Bay Packers passionately. Football season was always a fun but competitive time with every sibling and parent cheering for a different team.

He also loved soccer and was part of the OG inaugural team for Mountain View. His senior year he was team captain and he took so much pride in that honor.

During high school he worked at Benedict’s Market and learned so many valuable skills there and loved the friends he made. In 2025 he returned there to work as a manager for a year.

2021 brought a new adventure for him when he became an uncle for the first time. Oh what a joy that was for him! His nieces adore him!

In 2022 he graduated high school and continued his education at Western Wyoming College, earning his associates degree. Summer of 2023 and 2024 were spent working at Genesis Alkali and he enjoyed getting to know people there and learning new skills with hands on work. In April of 2026 he moved to St. George, UT to begin a career to become an electrician. He had really found his niche while working and continuing his education in that trade.

He was a child of nature and that was where he was truly in his element.

In 2023 he was gifted a puppy he named Berkley and they were inseparable! They went on every adventure together and Kyler was convinced she could do anything and go anywhere. Berkley is going to miss their adventures so much!

Kyler is survived by his parents, sister, MaShayla (Kellen) Hansen, nieces Kelly and Scottie Hansen, a brother, Keaton (Madison) Hurdsman, a brother, Kamdyn Hurdsman, Grandparents, Derrill and Anita Carpenter, and Kim and Robin Hurdsman, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, who adored him. He is preceded in death by his sister, Lilly, nephew, Kade Hurdsman,  Uncle, Bradley Kent Carpenter, and the wonderful uncle that he was named after, Kelly Quinn Carpenter, who we know welcomed him with the biggest hug. grandparents, great uncles, great aunts he loved dearly, and the love of his life, Macey Bradshaw.

Services will be held on September 25th, 2026 at 20800 WY-414 MP 120.6. Turn right immediately after the Henry’s Fork bridge. There will be a sign. Viewing will be held at 3with funeral services immediately following at 4. In case of inclement weather, the services will be held at the Mountain View LDS Chapel, in Mountain View.  Kyler will be cremated following the funeral services and will be laid to rest at the Fort Bridger Cemetery, Fort Bridger, Wyoming, at a later date.
