in 1945, Lillian married Thomas S. Harrower Sr. a livestock dealer at the time.  From this 30 year union, three children were born; Tom Jr., daughter, Julienne of Cheyenne, WY.; and Norm Harrower of Drumwright, OK.  Together Lilllian and Tom Sr. built a promminent family cattle ranching operation beginning with the James W. She never met a stranger, she was always your friend.  She was generous and would entertain you with her vibrant personality.  When she walked into a room, her smile, wisdom and humor would always make life brighter.  And most importantly, you were always welcome at her kitchen table, where many enjoyed her homemade polenta.  Lillian loved children and was always eager to help or share information about those good ole days.  Everyone from friends, ranch hands to cattle buyers had great respect for her and they always enjoyed her company.

Lillian was a cancer survivor and was a member of the Eastern Stars and The Daughter of The Nile and many other organizations.

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Tom Sr. in 1975.

She was the last survivor of her family.  She was preceded in death by her parents Albano and Carolina Bertolini Ropelato; sisters, Lizzie Ropelato, Amelia DeGorgio, Pearl Aimone, Marcie Felice, and brothers, Edwin Ropelato, Milo Ropelato, and Roy Ropelato.
