Lily Rae Barton

Our sweet Lily Rae Barton returned to our Heavenly Father before we could welcome her into our family. She was born to Joseph and Erica Barton on August 21, 2025.

Her older siblings Colton, Haven and Tyler were anxiously waiting for her arrival. Even though, her time was short on this earth, she's left a huge impact on our lives. Her body was small and fragile but to us she was perfect, from her small toes to her dark hair and cute double chin. Lily weighed less than 5 lbs but was long at 18.5". We think she would have been tall like her older siblings. We fell in love in an instant. We are grateful for the Plan of Salvation and the Atonement of Jesus Christ, knowing that she will be ours for Eternity.

She is survived by her parents, Joseph & Erica Barton and her older siblings, Colton, Haven & Tyler; her maternal grandparents, Shad & Norma Welling; paternal grandparents, Rick & Kathy Barton, as well as her loving aunts, uncles & cousins. Graveside burial will be held August 30th, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Evanston Cemetery 526 County Rd. Following the service a luncheon will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 201 Sage St.
