Lorraine Brown

Lorraine Brown, age 79, of Kemmerer, WY, passed away on November 3, 2025, in Fort Smith, AR.

She was born on February 20, 1946, in Stockton, CA, to Irvian and Harriett Porter. Lorraine and her family later moved to Ogden, UT, where she met her husband, Lewis Lee Brown, Jr. The two eventually settled in Kemmerer, WY, where they raised their family.

Lorraine lived a quiet life and enjoyed simple pleasures. She was an avid reader, loved crossword puzzles, and would challenge her granddaughter, Kindra, to a game of Yahtzee whenever she could. She also had a talent for embroidery. She spent many hours creating beautifully detailed and thoughtful pieces over the years.

She is survived by her sons Shane (Serena) Brown and their daughter Kindra, and Travis (Kayla) Brown and their children Tyler, Cody, Tim, Jake and Paisley. She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Lee Brown, Jr., her parents, Irvian and Harriett Porter, and a daughter.
