Mary Horsburgh

Mary Evadeen Horsburgh, 95, of Ammon, ID passed away on May 7, 2018, at The Gables of Ammon Assisted Living Center.  She was under the care of Aspen Home Health and Hospice and her loving family.  

Mary was born on August 4, 1922 in Diamondville, WY, to Charles Henry Sneddon and Grace Little Sneddon.  She grew up and attended schools in southwestern Wyoming and graduated from Kemmerer High School.

On April 21, 1941, she married Richard Horsburgh Sr. In Randolph, UT.  To this union were born three children, Cheryl, Charles, and Richard Jr.  Mary and Richard made their home in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Mary enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family.  

Mary is survived by her son, Charles (Kris) Horsburgh of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Cheryl (Roy) Daughetee of Harrisville, UT; a sister, Nila (Doug) Hogan, of Soda Springs, ID; 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and one great great granchild.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard Horsburgh, Sr.; a sister, Katherine Gill, and son, Richard Horsburgh.

Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue with Chuck Horsburgh, officiating. The family will visit with friends one half hour to services.  Burial will be held at 1PM Monday, May 14, 2018 in the Rest Haven Cemetery, Rock Springs, WY.
