Nancy Carol Housley

Nancy Ashford Housley, age 75, passed away at The University of Utah Medical Center on December 26, 2021 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She wsa born on April 21, 1946 in Kemmerer, Wyoming, the daughter of Osborn D. And Joy Enise (Dellinger) Ashford.

She married S. Cyril Housley and they later divorced. To this union, a son Justin Neil Housley was born.

Nancy spent many years working as a CNA at the Wyoming State Hospital in Evanston, Wyoming, and also spent many years working at other jobs throughout her life, including bartending at The Eagle Bar in LaBarge, WY.

Nancy was an avid quilter, seamstress, and loved to spend time with family camping, and especially enjoyed being around her grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her son, Justin N. Housley of LaBarge, WY; granddaughters, Hannah Housley and Gracie Housely. She is also survived by a sister, Connie Whitaker, of Evanston, WY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Jim Ashford.

Memorial services to celebrate her life will be conducted at the LaBarge LDS Chapel on Friday, January 7, 2022, at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will follow services at the Viola Cemetery, Viola, WY.

Ball Family Chapel of Kemmerer has been entrusted to arrangements.
