Susan Janelle Sequera

Susan Janelle Sequera, age 55, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 24, 2014.  She was born on May 18, 1959 in Kemmerer, Wyoming, the daughter of William Leon Black, Sr. & Nancy N. (Johnson) Black.  She graduated from Kemmerer High School, and later married Dale Sequera.  They later divorced.  

Susie was an avid outdoors person.  She loved to hunt and go camping.  She was passionate about arrowheads, and different kinds of history involved with arrowheads.  She also enjoyed doing family history, genealogy, and studying about her ancestors.  She loved to do all kinds of crafts.  People will remember her for her homemade gifts.  She took after her grandmother and mother with being able to crochet just about anything, and she passed her talent on to her daughter and her granddaughter and other friends.  She always knew how to make friends for life.  Susie loved pigs, and had an extensive collection of pigs.

Susie is survived by her children, a daughter, Tara (Rob) Sawaya, of Diamondville, WY.; and a son, Cory (Kindie) Sequera, of Mountain View, WY.  She is also survived by her parents, William L. & Nancy N. Black, Sr. Of Kemmerer, WY.; her brothers, Bill (Beverly) Black, of Kemmerer, WY.; and Wayne (Karyn) Black, of Kemmerer, WY.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Janelle Sawaya, Austin Sawaya, and Lacey Sequera.  She is also survived by her aunt and uncle, Frank and Bonnie Johnson, of Texas, and an aunt, Shirley Jo Ellsworth, of Utah; and her great grandmother, Lillian Torrey of Vernal, UT.  She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins.  

Susie was preceded in death by her ex husband, Dale Sequera.  

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ball Family Chapel of Kemmerer, WY.  Graveside services will take place later on in the Spring of 2015, and inurnment will take place at the South Lincoln Cemetery, Kemmerer, WY.
