Wallace "Bubba" Stanley Russell

July 1, 1977 — December 7, 2023

Kemmerer

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wallace Russell, known to friends and family as Bubba. A man whose spirit revved as loudly as the engines he loved. His heart belonged to the great outdoors, and his hands were never idle, always tinkering away in his cherished workshop.
A true enthusiast, Bubba found solace in the world of race cars, reveling in the thunderous roar of engines and the rush of speed. Loud music, 4-wheeling adventures, and intense games of pool were among the many ways he embraced life's vibrant symphony.
Bubba's love extended beyond his hobbies; it enveloped his family, turning friends into brothers and sisters .
Cocky and confident, Bubba navigated life with a healthy dose of sarcasm, a trait that endeared him to those who truly knew him. His roots traced back to the rolling landscapes of Tennessee and Mississippi, where he spent his childhood immersed in the world of fast cars and faster bikes.
Though time may have passed, Bubba retained a childlike exuberance that brought a sparkle to his eyes and a contagious joy to those around him. In our hearts, he remains forever young, a free spirit navigating the winding roads of life.
As we mourn the loss of Bubba , let us remember him not with sorrow, but with the enduring echoes of laughter, the revving of engines, and the warmth of shared moments. May he find eternal peace in the vast, open landscapes he so loved.
Rest in peace, dear Bubba. You will be deeply missed, and your legacy will continue to race through our hearts.
He staunchly believed that in the realm of children there were no steps – all were equal recipients of his unwavering love, including his cherished daughters.
Bubba's journey is now reunited with his beloved parents, Stanley and Patty, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Katie Russell, in Kemmerer, and leaves a lasting imprint on the hearts of his sons, Jason and Jorden in Kemmerer, and Mary Catherine of Cleveland, Mississippi. Sister, Amy, residing in Alabama,
Bubba's legacy extends to the next generation, as he leaves behind 12 adoring grandchildren: Rylie, Tommy, Willow, Brylee, Adisen, Jaxyn, Oliver, Zuko, Maya, Quinnly, Harvey, and Paisley. Each one carries a piece of his spirit forward, a testament to the enduring impact of a man who valued family above all else.
