William Joseph Whiteford

William J. Whiteford, age 60, passed away on March 13, 2017 at South Lincoln Medical Center in Kemmerer, WY.

William was born on February 28, 1957 in Melrose Park, Illinois, the son of William Patrick and Fiorita Rose (Albachiara) Whiteford.  He married Diane Hatch on November 23, 1984 in Simi Valley, CA.

Bill and Diane lived in California for numerous years, and then moved to Opal, Wyoming.  Bill worked as a computer consultant for numerous years.  He loved spending time working on computers.  He was an avid gunsmith, loved working as a locksmith, and enjoyed spending time fishing.  He currently served on the Opal City Council and a councilman.  He had a passion for motorcycles, and loved to ride as often as he could.

Bill is survived by his wife, Diane Whiteford, of Opal, WY.; a step son, James Bond of Simi Valley, CA.; his mother, Fiorita Whiteford, three brothers, Kevin, Dan, and Tim,  and a sister, Wendy.  

He was preceded in death by his father, and one brother, Gerald.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ball Family Chapel and online condolences may be left at ballfamilychapel.com.
